Electrical Testing Government Legislation

NZ Testing / Inspection Legislation

Test and Tag Standards are higher than those provided by the New Zealand Standard, as in event of accident the Standard is supersede by regulations that have financial consequences . For Test and Tag  competency is not enough at the test and tag team, we are dealing with electricity and part of identifying a fault is fixing it there and then. All technicians must undertake NZE college training and Exams as a minimum and be working towards registered serviced technicians or already are Service Technicians/Electricians.  This means we just don’t put a tag on item saying it passed or failed. We have operating systems and procedures that must be followed, by qualified technicians that can carry out repairs and identify other electrical hazards for your company.

Most importantly where ever an item is tested in the country it is conducted under all the same test parameters and strict operating guidelines.
